Iran-Backed Shi'ite Militia Releases Posters Threatening Drone Attack On U.S. Embassy In Baghdad

On January 3, 2022, an Iran-backed Shi'ite militia published two posters on its Telegram channel threatening to attack the U.S. Embassy in Baghdad with drones and rockets. One poster depicted the embassy with the U.S. flag toppling in flames, while the second included the Arabic text: "the rockets of the resistance are ready to attack American interests and revive the victories of 2006-2009."
