Houthi Armed Forces Showcase Drones In Yemen Military Parade

On September 21, 2022, the Houthi Ansar Allah movement held a military parade in the Yemeni capital of Sanaa. The parade marked the eighth anniversary of the Houthi takeover of Yemen (known as the "September 21 Revolution").

The parade, in which thousands of members of the Houthi armed forces participated, showcased various weapon systems, including drones, ballistic and winged missiles, air defense systems, armored vehicles, and combat boats. Some of the systems were being unveiled for the first time.

Drones showcased included the Khatif-2 drone, which is equipped with a remote sensing system and is designed for tactical strikes against armored vehicles.

Also in the parade was the Mirsad-2 reconnaissance drone, which has vertical take-off capabilities and can fly for eight hours at a stretch.
