The Iranian news agency Fars reported that the servers of the Syria Arab News Agency (SANA) underwent systematic cyber-attacks over a few days as part of the ongoing attacks on the Syrian media, in an attempt to prevent readers from accessing the website.

The servers were targeted by DDoS (Distributed Denial of Service) attacks, preventing access to the external server completely for some time, until technicians at the SANA and the Syrian Computer Society (SCS) managed to restore the site to optimal performance, according to SANA.
