EXPANDING MEMRI’S RESEARCH: THE MEMRI TV PROJECT
MEMRI recently launched its newest initiative, The MEMRI TV Project (www.memritv.org). The project is housed at a state of the art studio which operates 16 hours a day, monitoring every major Arab and Iranian TV channel. The center has in-house capability to translate, subtitle, and distribute the material in real time to Western news channels across the world, effectively ‘Bridging the Language Gap Between the Middle East and the West.’ There are already over 145 segments in the project’s archives, and new ones are added regularly.
