Parliament Speaker Nabih Beri [in response to catcalls from Lebanese Ba'th Party MP 'Assem Qansu]: "Your turn will come 'Assem.

"Don't answer back… Your turn will come…"

MP 'Assem Qansu: "He has the audacity to challenge Syria. Who is this dog?…"

Nabih Beri: "Your turn will come. You can have your say then." […]

MP Khaled Al-Dhaher [after returning to his seat and being told what ‘Assem Qansu said]: "Mr. Speaker, the truth is that I didn't hear what my colleague 'Assem Qansu said. He said: 'Who is that dog talking over there?' I want to tell him that he is the dog, not me."
