Hizbullah-affiliated Lebanese researcher Habib Fayyad said on an October 10, 2023 show that aired on Al-Jadeed TV (Lebanon) that all Jews who came to Israel after 1948 are not civilians and are part of the "Israeli military infrastructure." When the interviewer stated that according to reports most of the victims of the Hamas invasion of southern Israel were civilians, he responded: "There are no civilians in Israel."  When she asked if this refers to families, small children, and the elderly, Fayyad responded by saying that not every child should be killed, and he suggested that they can be placed in a kindergarten.

Interviewer: "Some say that most of the people who were killed or captured are civilians..."

Habib Fayyad: "There are no civilians in Israel."

Interviewer: "How come? We saw families..."

Fayyad: "They are not civilians!"

Interviewer: "But we saw old people and children..."

Fayyad: "These people came from Poland, Bulgaria, Russia, and Ethiopia and took my home, let's say, in [Deir] Yassin, and now they live there, and give birth to children, knowing that this is my home. They are not civilians."

Interviewer: "So you say that even the families and small children and the elderly... Even five-year olds..."

Fayyad: "Every Jew... Now, what to do with a 5-year old..."

Interviewer: "We saw pictures of them..."

Fayyad: "Well, that's another thing. Maybe they can be placed in a kindergarten, you know? I am not saying 5-year olds should be killed. I am not saying every child should be killed, but I do say that every Jew who came to Palestine, and is not one of the Palestinian Jews who were in Palestine, before the establishment of the state of Israel in 1948 is part of the Israeli military infrastructure."
