Former Grand Mufti of Egypt Shekh Ali Gomaa: The Zionist Entity Has Grown Old, the Time for Its Demise Has Come

Former Grand Mufti of Egypt Shekh Ali Gomaa said in an October 19, 2023 address delivered in the Egyptian parliament that the Zionist entity has grown old and that the time for its demise has come. He said that Israelis seem to be suffering from Alzheimer’s disease. In the address, which was aired on Channel 1 (Egypt), Gomaa said: "It is time for it [Israel] to be gone."

Shekh Ali Gomaa: "From this blessed house, I am sending a message to the Israeli government. That Zionist state – or rather, that Zionist entity – seems to have grown old, and the time for its demise has come. It is time for it to be gone. You [Israelis] seem to be suffering from Alzheimer's disease – because you don't know who you are dealing with, and you forget things before you actually do them."
