On July 2, 2023, Mayadeen TV (Lebanon) aired a report about a weapons exhibitions organized by Hamas in Gaza. The exhibition was attended by many children, who can be seen posing for photos with weapons and with armed and masked Hamas fighters. Suhail Al-Hindi, a member of Hamas' political bureau, said that Hamas is preparing for the "decisive battle" with the enemy, and he praised the rocket and tunnel capabilities of Hamas' Al-Qassam Brigades military wing.
Suhail Al-Hindi: "This is a clear message to the enemy: We are preparing, and Allah willing, we are on the cusp of a battle that will be the decisive battle between us and the enemy. Despite our modest resources, the Al-Qassam Brigades has been preparing. It was a very hard beginning, but today, we have reached the highest and deepest points in Palestine – above ground [with our rockets] and in our underground [tunnels]."
Man: "This was manufactured by the Al-Qassam Brigades, by Palestinian hands. Drones, weapons... by Allah! I am speechless at what the Al-Qassam Brigades have managed to do. We bless these efforts. The entire Palestinian people are united around the resistance, which is a source of pride for the Palestinians and the entire Arab nation."
Woman: "I am very happy to be near the weapons that will annihilate Israel, weapons that have been killing many of them, day and night. Despite the siege, we managed to obtain weapons. Their end is coming, inshallah."
Girl: "I am very proud that our people have reached this stage. The Al-Qassam Brigades will develop and progress, inshallah."
