On January 31, 2024, Al-Mirsaad Media, which is believed to be run unofficially by the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan (IEA, i.e., the Afghan Taliban) and consistently carries articles in favor of the Taliban rulers, published an article on its Dari-language website, saying that Europeans created Israel because they "were not safe from the evil of Jews."

"Since most of the countries were not safe from the evil of Jews, the Europeans hunted two birds with one arrow in the name of the United Nations. First, they saved themselves from the evil of Jews, and second, they involved Muslims in war with the Jews," it says.

The article, titled "Palestine – Yesterday and Today," notes however that Muslims could grasp "the evil of Jews," stating: "Because Muslims could best understand the evil and corruption of the Jews, it was necessary for the Muslims to fight against them in one rank." The article, written by one "Engineer Umair," a Taliban writer, also expresses support for Hamas.

Following is the text of the article, as translated from Dari language:

"First, [Europeans] Saved Themselves From The Evil Of Jews, And Second, They Involved Muslims In War With The Jews"

"Palestine is an Islamic country located in the western part of the Asian continent and in the eastern Mediterranean. This country is surrounded by Jordan to the east, the Mediterranean Sea to the west, Syria and Lebanon to the north and northeast, and the Egyptian peninsula and the Gulf of Aqaba to the south.

"In addition to being called the center of heavenly religions, Palestine is very important due to its very good geographical location, which is enhanced by Al-Aqsa Mosque and Al-Sakhra Mosque [in Jerusalem]. At the time of Prophet Ibrahim, peace be upon him, wahdaniyat [oneness of God], meaning heavenly religion, developed in the land of Palestine; and during the time of the second caliph of Islam [Umar ibn Khattab], the holy religion of Islam reached the blessed land of Palestine.

"The majority of Muslims and the minority of Jews and Christians also lived in this land, and they also fully enjoyed the rights that Muslims enjoyed. After the collapse of the Ottoman Caliphate, the British dominated this land and took it under their control and for this reason, the ground was favorable for the Jews and they were involved in a war with the Palestinians; and this war expanded further when Palestine was divided into Jewish and Arab states by the United Nations in 1947.

"Since most of the countries were not safe from the evil of Jews, the Europeans killed two birds with one stone in the name of the United Nations. First, they saved themselves from the evil of Jews, and second, they involved Muslims in war with the Jews. Because Muslims could best understand the evil and corruption of the Jews, it was necessary for the Muslims to fight against them in one rank, but unfortunately when the Palestinians were involved in the war with the Jews, Jordan and Egypt occupied some Palestinian lands."

"The Arab Countries Will Realize That When The Jews Remove Hamas, Then It Will Be Very Difficult For The Arab Countries To Control The Jews"

"The Jews are not ahead in war with everyone, but in creating hypocrisy and sedition. If Hamas did not rise up against the Jews, there would be a big problem for the Arab countries. Weakening of Palestine, especially Hamas, will be a big problem for the Arab countries. The Arab countries will realize that when the Jews remove Hamas, then it will be very difficult for the Arab countries to control the Jews."
