Iranian Official Azghadi: The Westerners Are Barbaric Criminals Who Understand Nothing But Force

In a recent address, Hassan Rahimpour Azghadi, a member of the Iranian Supreme Council for Cultural Revolution said that the Westerners are "barbaric people, real animals, who speak only with force and understand nothing but the language of force." He further said: "They are criminals. You have to talk to criminals in a language they understand." The address was broadcast on Iran’s Channel 1 on April 3, 2014.

Hassan Rahimpour Azghadi: We should not say to the U.S., Israel, England, and I don’t know where: “You slapped us on one cheek, so we will turn the other cheek. If you take half of our country, we will give you the other half. You humiliated these guys, so come and humiliate those ones.” This is not the way to talk. Our talk must be with honor and Jihad. We must be steadfast.

There are some enemies with whom you cannot reason. They do not understand the meaning of the words “brother” or “sister.” These are barbaric people, real animals, who speak only with force and understand nothing but the language of force.

You can try to reason with them for a thousand hours, and they will not care. So go ahead and ask them for something. Preach to them. They are criminals. You have to talk to criminals in a language they understand.

One would be stupid not to notice that throughout history, a certain group has attacked people, tormented them, and violated the honor of their women. Don’t you see it? Don’t you see what Israel is doing now? Don’t you see what the U.S. is doing now, and what NATO and Europe are doing?

After all, what did the Soviet Communists do in the past? And the Fascist Germans? Other criminals in Asia, Africa, and all over the world – can you reason with these people?

These are the people who talk to Bashar with whips, bullets, and bombs. We must be civilized and honest, not barbaric like them, yet still talk to them in the language of force.

What happened with Saddam? They executed him in a humiliating way. I have the video of his execution on my computer desktop, and I watch it sometimes because I don’t believe... I watch the scene again and again to see if he was really hanged... The moment they pulled the lever, the youth began to recite prayers.

The youth shouted “Death to Saddam,” and it came true. They shouted “Death to the hypocrites,” and it came true. Before that, they shouted “Death to the Shah,” and it came true. They shouted “Death to Communism,” and it came true. They are shouting “Death to Israel,” and it is coming true now.

Today, the rulers of Iraq, Syria, Lebanon, Gaza, and Palestine are saying what our youth said 27 years ago: “We heed Your call, oh Allah.” Then they marched to their death, in keeping with the words of Imam Khomeini. Where is the Imam now, and where are Saddam, the hypocrites, and all the others? “Truth has come, and falsehood has departed. Falsehood is doubt to depart.”
