Source: Online Platforms

Asked by a reporter if she wasn't afraid to come to the Return March rally, a young Palestinian girl responded: "What have I got to be afraid of? Their filthy weapons?" She said: "Let's see the occupation army come here and face me without its weapons!" and chanted: "Martyrs in the millions are marching to Jerusalem," as people around cheered and cried "Allah Akbar." The footage, filmed by Ihab Omar Fasfous, was posted on the Internet on April 26.

Following is a transcript:

Reporter: Excuse me, aren’t you afraid to come here?

Gaza Girl: No, I’m not. What have I got to be afraid of? Their filthy weapons? Am I supposed to be afraid of the weapons they fire at us? Never.

[…]

Gaza Girl: We are fighting for the sake of Al-Aqsa!

Crowd: Allah Akbar! Allah Akbar!

Gaza Girl: “Martyrs in the millions are marching to Jerusalem.” The Return March is today, and I say to everybody: Palestine forever! Jerusalem belongs to us, not to the filthy Israel. Let’s see the occupation army come here and face me without its weapons! You will be scared and run crying to your mother: “Mommy, mommy, mommy…”

They are using their weapons. They are using them now. I am not afraid of Israel. They are afraid of us. We are heroes, sisters of heroes! We are all like men!

[…]

Gaza Girl: I say to the whole world that we are here to stay. “Martyrs in the millions are marching to Jerusalem.”

Crowd: Allah Akbar! Allah Akbar!
