On October 20, 2024, former Russian diplomat Viacheslav Matuzov appeared on Mayadeen TV (Lebanon), where he discussed connections that he discerned between the conflicts in the Gaza Strip, Lebanon, and Syria, and Russia's war in Ukraine. He claimed that these conflicts are part of a broader agenda he described as "one expansionist enterprise," suggesting that Israel is heavily involved in the Ukrainian conflict. Matuzov alleged that 80% to 100% of Ukrainian parliament members hold Israeli passports and stated that millions of Jews from Europe and America are prepared to move to Ukraine to build a "second Israel" there, citing the country's natural resources and wealth as motivations for this relocation.
Viacheslav Matuzov: "We believe that the events in the Gaza Strip, in Lebanon, against Syria, and against the Arab world in general are directly connected to the war that the Russian Federation is waging on Ukrainian land, against the same forces. Israel is one of the members who participate heavily in the war in Ukraine, against the Russian forces.

"Today, we know full well that President Zelensky, Prime Minister Shmyhal, former Minister of Defense, and 80% – and some say 100% – of Ukrainian parliament members have Israeli passports. Therefore, we look at what is happening in Ukraine, the Gaza Strip, and Lebanon as one expansionist enterprise that includes the idea of a Greater and New Middle East, in the words of Condoleezza Rice.

"It is being said more and more that 5-7 million Jews from Europe and America are ready to move to Ukraine, the wealthiest republic of the former USSR, in terms of agriculture, industry, and natural resources, including uranium mines, natural gas, and coal of the best kind... This is why Israel wants to build a second Israel on that land, and people in Russia undoubtedly understand this."
