Antisemitism in the Arab world and Iran has evolved rapidly in recent years from various sources: Islamic origins, going so far as to call for killing Jews in sermons and in the media; European libels and stereotypes; and drawing heavily on Nazi propaganda. This phenomenon has become a major catalyst of antisemitic incidents in the West. This project documents Arabic, Farsi, and Turkish newspaper reports, editorials, and other media sources on antisemitic themes, as well as expressions in the Arab and Muslim world against antisemitism.  This project’s archives, which consist of thousand of pages of translations of articles from the Arab and Iranian press and hundreds of hours of footage from the MEMRI TV Project.  MEMRI’s Antisemitism Documentation Project maintains the largest archives in the world of translated Arabic and Farsi material on antisemitism from the past decade.
