In a video from Damascus posted on X by Turki Shlahoub on December 27, 2024, Abdul Rahman Yusuf Al-Qaradawi, the son of deceased Muslim Brotherhood spiritual leader Yousuf Al-Qaradawi, prayed for the success of the Syrian people and their new leadership. He described the "shameful Arab regimes and Zionist Arabs" in countries such as the UAE, Saudi Arabia, and Egypt as the top schemers against the new leadership. Al-Qaradawi claimed they would not be able to stop the "Flood of Change," which began on October 7, 2023, with the so-called "Al-Aqsa Flood" from Gaza. Reports indicate that Lebanese authorities arrested Al-Qaradawi upon his arrival in Lebanon from Syria, following an INTERPOL arrest warrant. For more information about Abdul Rahman Al-Qaradawi, see MEMRITV clips nos. 4069 and 3962.

Abdul Rahman Al-Qaradawi:"We pray that Allah bestows success upon the Syrian people and their new leadership, so they can face all the evil challenges that are schemed by the entire world. At the top of the schemers and conspirators you will find the shameful Arab regimes and Zionist Arabs in the UAE, Saudi Arabia, Egypt, and elsewhere. To them, we say: You will not be able to do anything against the Flood of Change. The second launch of this Flood began on October 7, 2023, from Gaza."
