Shiite Iraqi Cleric Yassin Al-Musawi Slams Saud Clan: That "Innocent Lamb of a Country" Sends Us Suicide Bombers on a Daily Basis, Stands alongside Israel

Shiite Iraqi cleric Yassin Al-Musawi said in a recent TV interview that Saudi Arabia, which it called "our kindhearted neighboring country... that meek and calm kingdom that wants only what's best for us," sends us suicide bombers on a daily basis. "One day they send us ISIS, another day they send us Al-Qaeda," he said. He criticized the Saud clan, saying that it "is responsible for all those who were killed anywhere in Baghdad" and said that "this family, which slaughtered and killed the Iraqis, is now standing alongside Israel." Al-Musawi posted the interview on his YouTube channel on June 8.

Yassin Al-Musawi: "Note how most of the Arab countries have stood against the Iraqi people for almost 14 years. For almost 14 years, they have participated in slaughtering us, participated in bombing us. Despite this, see just how peaceful we are. Our kindhearted neighboring country, called the Saudi kingdom – that meek and calm kingdom that wants only what's best for us – has done us nothing wrong in the past 14 years, except for sending us, on a daily basis, suicide bombers, whom they call 'martyrdom seekers.' One day they send us Al-Qaeda, another day they send us ISIS, and they have shown no mercy to children or old people. The division of the Iraqis into Sunnis, Shiites, Arabs, and Kurds is the handiwork of the Saud clan.

"All the crimes, agony, and disasters that we have suffered have come from that kindhearted innocent lamb of a country, which wants nothing but friendship and love. They are now building us a sports stadium in Basra. These are good people, who have flooded us with slaughter and killing. The Saud clan is responsible for all those who were killed anywhere in Baghdad. The top man, the king, and all the others are equally responsible for this crime. This family, which slaughtered and killed the Iraqis, is now standing alongside Israel. The Crown Prince Muhammad bin Salman bin Abdulaziz is a well-mannered, educated, and kindhearted young man, who wants peace with the Israelis, and explains that they have a right to Jerusalem, saying: 'Why can only Muslims live in Jerusalem? Let [the Israelis] take it. Jerusalem is theirs. Why do we fight them? They want to live in peace. The aggressors are the Palestinians. Why do they have to demonstrate?'"
