Sheikh Baroud, A Colleague of Ahmad Yassin: Oh, Zionists, You Have no Brains...Annihilation Awaits You in Palestine

In the wake of the killing of Hamas leader, Ahmad Yassin, the Saudi-based religious channel, Iqra TV, interviewed Sheikh Abd Al-Rahman Baroud who was presented as 'a colleague' of Sheikh Yassin. Following are excerpts from his comments:

Sheikh Baroud: How did this small nation come to the heart of the Islamic nation, to its holy places? They came from all ends of the earth. The riffraff from all over were gathered and planted in Palestine, in the Muslim holy places, in the countries that were Arab and Muslim since ancient times and will be forever and now they confront Islam, the religion of Islam, and the soldiers of Islam.

I wonder where their brains are?! By Allah, they have no brains. Oh, Zionists, you have no brains! By Allah, don't you think?! You lived around the world like kings, what brought you to Palestine? Annihilation awaits you in Palestine. You will have no tranquility in Palestine. Palestine is not yours!

I say to the decision makers of the Islamic nation Let's talk in a larger scale. Why don't you have mercy on us? You see us? We want our homeland, we want our land, we want Haifa, Jaffa, and Acre. By Allah, we will not relinquish a grain of it, and no matter what they do, even if they butcher us pound by pound. And you watch from the sidelines. Is it not a disgrace that you watch from the sidelines?
