Sheik Al-Munajid on How the Elderly are Treated in the West
The following are excerpts from a lecture by Sheik Muhammad Al-Munajid about how the elderly are treated in the West:
Sheik Al-Munajid: While they [the elderly] suffer various curses and insults, they do not find their place among their relatives. Moreover, some of the Western thinkers, such as the advisor to the former French president, agree with Plato's proposal not to give intensive medical treatment to elderly people from a certain age in order to postpone their death. He has become not productive, so why should he remain in society? He has become a burden and a strain on society, and he costs money. Care and protection for him cost money, and he is not productive. He cannot work, so why should he stay alive? That is what it is like there.
We must shouldn't be surprised that these elderly people wish to die and even commit suicide. In France, they interviewed a few elderly people. Ten elderly people were asked what they hoped for themselves, and they all answered, "to die." All this, even though they receive a variety of good food and medical care in these nursing homes.
A British teenager tore out an elderly woman's heart after stabbing her and drank her blood. There are people there who are enthusiastic about drinking elderly people's blood. Devil worship includes these kinds of things.
A 17-year-old boy slaughtered an elderly woman at her home and tore organs out of her body. A Russian youth, when the [traffic] light turned green, ran over an elderly man crossing the street. When asked why, he said that he had the right of way because the traffic light had changed. For that reason alone. I have the right of way and do not care who is in front of me. This story was the cause for a certain Russian to convert to Islam, when he studied our religion and compared it to what this person had done there.
A pensioner was attacked while she was watching TV and she was brutally stabbed 22 times. Hence, the problem there is barbarism. Where is the mercy and compassion, where are the human rights they pretend to protect? Where are they?
