Saudi Astronomer Sheik Mud'ath Al-Makati Warns Muslims Against Being Like the Jews

#456 | 51
Source: Al-Majd TV (Saudi Arabia)

The following are excerpts from a lecture by Saudi astronomer Sheik Mud'ath Al-Maqati:

Al-Muqati: One of the evils of envy is that the envious person is like the Jews, may Allah forgive us. A believing Muslim does not like and would never want to bear any resemblance to the Jews. Moreover, the believer distances himself from Jewish morals. He distances himself from Jewish traits, and he distances himself from being like the Jews. The envious person may end up being like the Jews without being aware of this, may Allah forgive us. In this case, he bears a great resemblance to the Jews. Why? Because envy is a Jewish custom, and because envy is a Jewish moral value.
