Sa'd Al-Din Al-Hariri, Son of Assassinated Lebanese PM: We Support Hizbullah

The following are excerpts from an interview with Lebanese political leader and son of assassinated ex-PM Rafiq Al-Hariri, Sa'd Al-Hariri, which aired on Al-Manar TV on May 29, 2005.

Hariri: We will run in the elections and continue in the path of the martyr Rafiq Al-Hariri. The path of the martyr Rafiq Al-Hariri included all the principles: The principle of supporting the resistance (i.e. Hizbullah), the principle of national unity, economy… Rafiq Al-Hariri's path is the path taken by Rafiq Al-Hariri. The resistance is an inseparable part of Lebanese society. The resistance has done a lot for the Lebanese people and we have supported it from the start.

Interviewer: Hasan Nasrallah quoted what the martyr PM Rafiq Al-Hariri said about the weapons of the resistance. What do you say today?

Al-Hariri: As Rafiq Al-Hariri said, we support the resistance.
