Qom Friday Sermon: Unless Obama Changes US Policies, Our Slogan Will Remain "Death to America"

Following are excerpts from a Friday sermon in Qom, delivered by Iranian cleric Hossein Sa'idi, which aired on Channel 2, Iranian TV, on November 8, 2008:

Hossein Sa'idi: Our people knows that the American presidents are merely the "tribune." The people who really pull the strings behind the scenes are the Zionists. Statistics show that 80 percent of the Zionists voted for Obama.

If the gentleman who recently came to power changes his foreign policy towards Islam and all we hold sacred, our attitude toward them will change as well. But if their policies do not change, and only the faces change, there will be no difference between Bush and Obama, as far as we are concerned. As long as they want to confront Islam, the things we hold sacred, and our courageous people, our slogan will forever remain the same: Death to America.
