Mohammad Badawy, director of the Muslim American Society (MAS) Youth Center in Brooklyn, delivered a series of lectures on Islamic eschatology. In a December 14, 2024 lecture under the title "Precursors to the Major Signs – Armageddon and Al-Mahdi," Badawy discussed some of the precursors to the End Times, including the Islamic prophecy that the Jews will fight in the army of the Antichrist against the Muslims and will be pursued by the Muslims until they hide behind rocks and trees, which will in turn call to the Muslims: "There is a Jew hiding behind me, come and kill him!" He addressed critics of Islam, whom he said claim that this hadith expresses an Islamic support for a Holocaust, saying that these questions always come from the people with the "bloodiest hands". He said people who question this are "audacious", asking: "Whose fault is it that they are on the side of evil, right? That's the choice that they're going to make at the time."
On December 21, at a subsequent lecture titled "The 2nd Coming of Jesus – Liberation of Al-Aqsa," Badawy said that Jesus had been a prophet who had called the Jews out for their corruption and corruption of Allah's laws, and that the Jews arranged for the Romans to arrest and crucify him. He also commented that the Jews' corruption against Allah and treachery against His prophets has been their norm throughout history. For more about Mohammad Badawy, see MEMRI TV 11623, 11467.
Mohammad Badawy, December 14, 2024: "The next sign is warfare with the Jewish people. I hope this is being recorded. So it is mentioned that they will gather and then they will fight the Muslims in an organized fashion. It will continue to the point where they will hide behind trees and stones that will expose them. They will say: 'There is a Jew behind me', and then the Muslim will come... They will tell the Muslim: 'Come fight him. Come kill him.'
"A lot of times, people will take this hadith and say: 'Wow. Look, your religion is insane. You want to kill Jews, Islam approved of a Holocaust, and how do you answer that?'

"I should have started with this, I told you, the questions in these types of arguments come from the people with the bloodiest hands. These people have the audacity to bring up any of these questions, or any of these points, when their history... Forget their history – when their present is what it is today.

"Don't ever lend them an ear. Don't ever give them any type of leeway to say, 'Well, let me consider your points.' It's all nonsense, it's all pure hypocrisy, and none of it lives up to the standards of our religion.

"I said it before, it's eschatology. It's the End Times, he end of the world. Look up what any tradition has that's going on at that time. It's all the same. It's all warfare. It's all truth vs. evil. This is what everyone believes the world is headed to, the final showdown between good and evil. Whose fault is it that they are on the side of evil, right? That's the choice that they are going to make at that time."

Badawy, December 21: "[Jesus] was preaching to the Children of Israel, trying to call them out for the fact that they would very often follow the letter of the law while ignoring the spirit [of the law], and that cause them to look for constant loopholes in what Allah commanded. Nothing like the Children of Israel today... And that would lead to them playing around with the law of Allah and applying what they wanted, suspending what they didn't, and then loopholing the law. And [Jess] called them out on it.

"So when he called them out on this, they began to plot against him. [They said:] 'We don't want this guy here.' This is the first time they ever did this with a prophet, right? This is not their norm at all! You know... If we had subtitles, there would be 'sarcasm' under it, just in case you guys are not picking it up... This was their norm with their prophets all the time.

"They had the same outlook towards Jesus, so they plotted to kill him, or to have him killed, to report him to the Roman authorities, that this man is a troublemaker, he's going to lead a rebellion, and then they were going to have him arrested and crucified."
