Mujtaba Milhem, the son of a Hizbullah "martyr" said that he wanted to follow in his father's footsteps, on a January 4, 2025 talk show on Al-Jadeed TV (Lebanon). He said that his father taught him to be a mujahid and make his parents proud. Milhem said that he wants to die and "join the martyrs." He said that this is what he wants to do to help the oppressed. When the show's host suggested that he could help the oppressed while staying alive, Milhem replied: "The Lord takes the ones He loves, and leaves the ones He doesn't love." He also talked about manufacturing drones in order to attack and kill the "cowardly enemy," explaining that he means Israel, Germany, and America.
Interviewer: "Your nickname is 'the Son of the Resistance,' because you are devoted to the message of the resistance, and specifically Hizbullah."
Mujtaba Milhem: "Absolutely."
Interviewer: "Why?"
Milhem: "My dad taught me that this is the way I should follow, that I should be a mujahid, and defend my homeland, Lebanon, and make my Mom and Dad and everybody proud of me, because I am a resistance fighter."
Interviewer: "What does the 'path of the resistance' mean to you?"
Milhem: "This path brings me honor and glory. I am defending Lebanon and let it hold its head high. I make the people talk about me, and let my family be proud of me, because I am defending Lebanon and the people are talking about me."

Milhem: "Absolutely."
Interviewer: "And you want to manufacture drones?"
Milhem: "Yes."

Milhem: "So that I can attack the cowardly enemy."
Interviewer: "Who is the cowardly enemy?"
Milhem: "Israel and its supporters, like Germany and America. United States and its supporters."
Interviewer: "You got into your head that..."
Milhem: "Yes, I want to eliminate them."
Interviewer: "You want to eliminate them."
Milhem: "Yes, like they killed our young men. They took the best among us. They took our homes, and they took the ones we love..."
Interviewer: "Aren't you afraid to die?"
Milhem: "No. The Lord gave me my soul without asking, and He can take it without asking."
Interviewer: "Who planted all these ideas in your head?"
Milhem: "My brother and my dad.

"I will be happy to die and join the martyrs who have fallen."
Interviewer: "You have made the decision to become a martyr-seeker?"
Milhem: "Yes. If they allow me to go now and fight the Jihad, I won't say 'no.'"

Interviewer: "Inshallah, you will live to be 100."
Milhem: "No, my dear. I want to be martyred, and I am proud of what I am saying in front of everybody. I will be happy to be martyred. First of all, if we want to help the oppressed..."
Interviewer: "Can't we be alive and still support the oppressed?"
Milhem: "Hizbullah is fighting with its spirit."
Interviewer: "Okay, but can't you be alive when you support the oppressed, for the sake of your mother, your family, and your life in this world? Many people helped the oppressed and they are still alive. You don't have to die."
Milhem: "The Lord takes the ones He loves, and leaves the ones He doesn't love."
