Mufti of Moscow Albir Krganov: Guantanamo Bay Turned Inmates into Wild Animals Who Were Later Released to Join ISIS and Nusra Front

Albir Krganov, the mufti of Moscow, was interviewed on Al-Nujaba TV (Iraq) on December 15, 2018. He said that ISIS and Jabhat Al-Nusra are banned in Russia because they are recognized as terrorist organizations. He added that the prisoners in Guantanamo Bay were subjected to extreme violence in order to prepare them to fight alongside Jabhat Al-Nusra and ISIS and to kill innocent people after being released. He also asked, "Who is the real owner of Charlie Hebdo?" but stopped short of answering his own question.

Following are excerpts:

Mufti Albir Krganov: Jabhat Al-Nusra and ISIS are banned organizations in Russia. They are recognized as terrorist organizations. I can say even harsher words about these organizations. In addition to the teachings of Ibn Taymiah and Muhamma ibn Abd Al-Wahhab, other ideas have entered [these organizations] – ideas that contradict those of the Sunnah, according to our clerics. These are hybrid ideas that have the purpose of creating something new. As I see it, there are other tendencies as well. Those who are familiar with the subject know this… Even the prisoners in Guantanamo were subjected to extreme violence in order to prepare them to work with Jabhat Al-Nusra and ISIS. The people in that prison were turned into wild animals and then they were released so that they would kill innocent people.

Let me ask you and your viewers a question: who is the real owner of Charlie Hebdo? Why did it publish those [offensive] cartoons? I believe that the intelligent people know the answer.
