Lebanese Minister of National Defense Elias Bou Saab: We Bought Car Bombs from Terrorists to Prevent Their Use Against Citizens

Lebanese Minister of National Defense Elias Bou Saab said in a May 2, 2019 show on MTV (Lebanon) that the Lebanese army purchased car bombs from terrorists in order to prevent the car bombs from being used against Lebanese civilians. He added: "I'm not sure anybody knows about this."

 

Elias Bou Saab: Did you know that the army bought car bombs? This might surprise everybody here. The army paid money to terrorists for car bombs, in order to prevent their detonation among Lebanese citizens. I'm not sure anyone knows about this.
