Lebanese TV Anchor Hanadi Zaidan: Nasrallah Declared "Blind Loyalty to the Iranian Birds of Darkness"

Against the backdrop of the Saudi-led campaign in Yemen, Lebanese TV anchor Hanadi Zaidan harshly criticized Hizbullah Secretary-General Hassan Nasrallah, saying: "Hizbullah and its secretary-general are the only ones who swim against the Arab and Lebanese current, declaring their blind loyalty to the Iranian birds of darkness." Nasrallah was "alarmed by the Arab Decisive Storm, and confronted it with a storm of Iranian loathing," said Zaidan.

Following are excerpts from her address, which was broadcast on April 8, 2015 on Future TV.

Hanadi Zaidan: Apologies to the Guardian of the Two Holy Mosques and to the entire Saudi people. Hizbullah Secretary-General Hassan Nasrallah, and Iran behind him, were alarmed by the Arab Decisive Storm. They found it strange that the Arabs had decided to restore the legitimate Yemeni rule, along with the Arabs' honor, which Iran has tried to sweep away by occupying Arab capitals. Nasrallah, his party, and his media exploded in fits of hatred and animosity toward the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

Nasrallah was alarmed and embarrassed by the Saudi support for the Lebanese state, although he runs a mini-state, which Iran supports on a sectarian basis, by providing it with weapons and [other] means of killing. The Hizbullah secretary-general was alarmed by the billions of dollars in aid that the Saudi kingdom provides to the Lebanese army and security forces, although Iran supports his party with weapons in violation of the law, the constitution, international norms, and U.N. resolutions. His job is to implement an Iranian agenda against the Lebanese state.

Nasrallah was alarmed by the Saudi support for the constitutional institutions, although he is the one preventing the election of a president, by insisting upon electing the person of his choice, in violation of constitutional principles. Nasrallah was alarmed by Saudi Arabia's efforts to mend the wounds of the Lebanese after each war with Israel, while Iran was using them in its nuclear negotiations, as fuel for its regional ambitions and its bloody messages.

The secretary-general of Hizbullah was alarmed by the way that Saudi Arabia has opened its doors to hundreds of thousands of Lebanese, providing them with work opportunities, thus enabling them to lead honorable lives. Many of them are from the Shiite sect. Meanwhile, Iran takes in young Lebanese and trains them to use weapons and fight. It teaches them how to die for the sake of the Iranian Jurisprudent ruler, and for the sake of aspirations with which they have nothing to do. Saudi Arabia gives them money to build happy families, while Iran gives them reasons to die and build homes in Paradise – or is it Hell?

[Iran] is doing all of this in order to implement its plots in Lebanon, Syria, Yemen, and elsewhere. Nasrallah was alarmed by the Arab Decisive Storm, and confronted it with a storm of Iranian loathing. He was alarmed that the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia has always served as the mediator to bring an end to the futile wars, whereas Iran tries to build its empire on the blood of the Arab peoples, and especially the Lebanese.

In conclusion, Hizbullah and its secretary-general are the only ones who swim against the Arab and Lebanese current, declaring their blind loyalty to the Iranian birds of darkness.
