Lebanese Shiite Leader, Sheikh Fadhlallah: The CIA is Behind Terror Attacks in Iraq

Al-Jazeera TV (Qatar) interviewed the Lebanese Shiite spiritual leader, Sheikh Fadhlallah. Following are excerpts from his comments:

Sheikh Fahlallah: We know that America does not seek good for Islam, for the Muslims, and for the repressed. America is a country that wants to spread its control over the entire world. Therefore, for 20 years - before and after the occupation of Iraq - I say that America, in its policy that aspires to impose hegemony on the world is an evil with no good in it.

After the tragic slaughter in Karbala and Qadhimiyya, I said that the CIA, which was in Iraq even during the time of the previous regime, as was Israeli intelligence, the Mossad, which entered Iraq together with the American army... An American official said: "Not only do we have a dialogue with Israel, we work together." Therefore, I said that the basic responsibility is that of America and its intelligence, and Israel and its intelligence,[because] of this Israeli-American alliance. I said this and I say it still. They have agents here and there, just as they have agents in Palestine, who spy on the Mujahideen of the Intifada here and there.
