Lebanese Politician Vera Yammine Denies the Holocaust, Says: Zionism Controls the West, Taking Hold of the East

On a recent TV show, Lebanese politician Vera Yammine said that the Holocaust was "shrouded in unclarity," and that the Jews "always fear exposure about the Holocaust, and are always eager to use it as a pretext." Yammine, a member of the political bureau of the Marada Movement, said: "Zionism has taken hold of the West and is taking hold of the East, and especially of the Arab world." She further said: "There is no such thing as ISIS or the Al-Nusra Front. All these terms have emerged from a single womb, the womb of Zionism."

Following are excerpts from the show, which aired on February 9 on Hizbullah's Al-Manar TV channel.

Vera Yammine: Why do [the Jews] reject any research of the Holocaust? Because there are doubts about it. In order to continue using it as a pretext over time, they must erase the truth… I don't know if it is the truth, but it is shrouded in unclarity… Due to this unclarity, they always fear exposure about the Holocaust, and are always eager to use it as a pretext. Let's go back to the original problem. I asked you who stands to gain from this. I believe that any analysis is legitimate, but if we want to point the compass in the right direction, we must say that only Zionism stands to gain. The Zionists stand to gain from all these holocausts over time. They control the finances, the economy, the commerce – this is what enables them to drain us of our ideology and our culture, and to destroy our identity and our language. Therefore, it is only Zionism that stands to gain.

Interviewer: But perhaps Zionism, like ISIS, is a pawn in the hands of the West…

Vera Yammine: In my view, it controls the West. This is how far it has gone.

Interviewer: According to your view, it's the opposite.

Vera Yammine: Yes, Zionism controls the West. Zionism hit the West financially and fragmented Christianity, by planting all kinds of sects in it. It got to a point, about a decade ago, that people were saying that we suffer from Christian Zionism. Today, in the Arab world, we suffer from Arab Zionism, which is the most dangerous form of Zionism. Zionism has taken hold of the West and is taking hold of the East, and especially of the Arab world. There is no such thing as ISIS or Al-Nusra Front. All these terms have emerged from a single womb, the womb of Zionism.
