Lebanese Politician Dr. Muath Shaaban: We Need To Name Streets After Killers Of Israeli Tourists And Sadat; May Others Follow In Their Footsteps; Jews – Descendants Of Apes And Pigs

In a December 20, 2020 interview on Al-Manar TV (Hizbullah-Lebanon), Lebanese politician and Sunni Islamist Dr. Muath Shaaban, of the Islamic Unification Movement said that people who violently oppose relations with Israel should rise up in the countries that have normalized relations with Israel. Specifically, he called for the emergence of people like Suleiman Khater, the perpetrator of the Ras Burqa massacre, in which seven Israeli tourists, including four children, were murdered, and like Khalid Al-Islambouli, who assassinated Egyptian President Anwar Sadat because of his participation in the Camp David Accords. In addition, Dr. Shaaban compared countries that have normalized relations with Israel to whores. He also referred to Jews as descendants of apes and pigs.

Muath Shaaban: "The Arab people will not visit Palestine under Israeli occupation. Only elites of a certain kind will visit. Elites, delegations... There was a video yesterday of an Emirati with an Israeli on the Golan border. He said: 'From here, the annihilation of Hizbullah will begin. We pray for Allah to...' He visited the Golan even though these very regimes and these very movements used to attack the Syrian regime and accuse it of abandoning the Golan. May [such people] be humiliated by Allah. You only came to the Golan with the Jews, who are the descendants of apes and pigs, slayers of the prophets, and the enemies of Muhammad, his family, and his companions.

"Suleiman Khater was an Egyptian soldier who shot [and murdered seven] Israeli tourists in Taba or Sinai, I don't remember..."

Interviewer: "Unfortunately, nobody remembers those martyrs whose actions constituted a turning point in..."

Shaaban: "When Khalid Al-Islambouli killed Sadat, he did it because Sadat had normalized [Egypt's relations] with the Jews. I am calling for [the emergence] of people like Al-Islambouli and Khater in all the countries that are normalizing [their relations with Israel]. The Jews must not set foot on Arab and Islamic land."

Interviewer: "Do the streets in Arab countries bear the names of these heroes, especially Suleiman Khater and others who have rejected normalization? Today, these countries are hostile to the Islamic Republic [of Iran], because it has named streets after those martyrs..."

Shaaban: "By Allah, I am ashamed to mention the Islamic Republic in the same breath as those countries. When you talk about purity, you cannot talk about whores. These are whores, and you must never mention them and Iran in the same breath."
