Jordanian Preacher Yassin Al-'Ajlouni Retracts Call to Allow Jews to Pray on Temple Mount

#4692 | 01:10
Source: Online Platforms

In a video posted on the Internet on December 23, 2014, Jordanian preacher Sheik Yassin Al-'Ajlouni retracted his previous call to allocate a place of worship for the Jews on the Temple Mount. For his previous call, posted on the Internet on December 18, see MEMRI TV clip no. 4677.

Following is the transcript of his retraction:

Sheik Yassin Al-'Ajlouin: In the name of Allah, the Merciful, the Compassionate. Assalaam alaykum, and Allah's blessings upon you.

I am retracting my call, in my previous video, to allocate a place of worship for the Jews [on the Temple Mount]. The Israelis interpreted this call as if I were saying that they have a right to Beit Al-Maqdis. I would like to emphasize that Beit Al-Maqdis is pure Islamic land. No one is allowed to give it up, to trivialize it, or to pass sovereignty over it to any non-Muslim party.

Allah's prayers and blessings upon our Prophet and his family and companions. Assalaam alaykum, and Allah's blessings upon you.
