U.S. National ISIS Fighter Vows To Raise ISIS Flag 'Over the White House,' Urges 'Brothers' To Carry Out Operations Using Knives, Guns
On December 27, 2017, Al-Hayat, a media arm of the Islamic State (ISIS), released the sixth issue of its "Inside" video series featuring a fighter, who the video says is "From America," vowing to the raise the group's flag "over the White House," urges Muslims to carry out attacks using guns and knives, he then challenged U.S. President Donald Trump to send ground troops to fight ISIS.
In the video, titled "Rise O Sons Of Islam Answer the Call," which was posted on multiple pro-ISIS Twitter accounts and Telegram channels, the fighter identified as Abu Salih Al-Amriki started by addressing "the wounded and seriously injured sons of the Caliphate" urging them to "rise and act upon their faith" and follow the examples of the companions of the Prophet. Abu Salih, who himself was missing at least one leg and appeared wearing an artificial limb, said: "Where is your excuse? So, I want you to weigh yourself and your deeds next to these [the companions of the Prophet] before your deeds are weighed on the day of judgment." Addressing the brothers "with limbs and no limbs, I challenge you to a race towards the gates of Jannah [paradise]."
After vowing to raise the ISIS flag "over the White House" and threatening that the U.S. "will be overcome from where you least expect it," Abu Salih addressed President Trump saying: "O dog of Rome, you do not liberate cities, you only obliterate them with your airstrikes because you are too frightened to fight us on the ground."
Abu Salih then addressed "the brothers in America" and urges them to "afflict upon where it hurts the most and continue to do operations on their soil. Avenge the blood of the Muslims with their blood. Get a knife and slice the throat of the kuffar [infidels] so they know that the blood of Muslims is not cheap."
He then urged them to use guns in their operations, saying: "Take advantage of the fact that you can easily obtain a rifle or a pistol in America. Spray the kuffar [unbelievers] with bullets so that their fear of Muslims rises and they continue to reveal their hatred towards Islam." Abu Salih concluded by calling on the "sons of the greatest witnesses" to "answer the call, rise and strike the kuffar."
The video ends with footage from attacks that have taken place in the U.S. and Europe, including the Las Vegas shooting, and the Paris and Nice attacks.
