IRGC Qods Force Commander General Esmail Ghaani warned U.S. President Trump and Secretary of State Mike Pompeo that they should take a lesson from Indian author Salman Rushdie, whose life has been threatened by the Iranian regime, how their lives will be from now on. General Ghaani said in his speech, which was aired on Channel 3 (Iran) on January 6, 2021 that the defeat of those who perpetrated the assassination of his predecessor, Qasem Soleimani, has already begun and it is "not inconceivable" that the revenge against this will come from within their "own home." Ghaani added that the followers of Allah have liberated Karbala and will also liberate Palestine and that their ultimate goal is the “global rule of the Hidden Imam.
Gen. Esmail Ghaani: "Your defeat and our revenge against you have begun. You will have no peace even in your own homes. It is not inconceivable that the revenge against you will come from within your home. Know this – and I have made this recommendation elsewhere as well... The main perpetrators who committed this crime, from U.S. President [Trump] to the current Secretary of State [Pompeo], who has been nurturing his hatred for the martyr Soleimani, for years, on a daily basis – they should all take a lesson from Salman Rushdie on how their lives will be from now on. It is not that they can assassinate the hero of the war on terror in our region, and then continue to live in peace.

"It is said that you [Israelis] will not see the next 25 years. Have no doubt about it. With the help of Allah, this can be done. The people who follow this path have already liberated Karbala, and they shall liberate Palestine. However, the ultimate goal that they have their eyes set on and towards which they move is the global rule of the Hidden Imam. The students of Soleimani and Abu Mahdi [Al-Muhandis] who follow their path will not settle for anything less, inshallah.
