Senior IRGC General Naqdi Predicts: Muslims Will Pull Americans out of Embassies and Military Bases and Hang Them Blindfolded from Trees

General Mohammad Reza Naqdi, IRGC Deputy Commander for Coordination, was interviewed on the Iranian Ofogh TV, on January 3, 2020. In the interview Naqdi said that although Iran has missiles, drones, and "we can do things to them in land and sea" he does not consider this to be real revenge. The blood of the martyrs is more powerful than missile attacks or the targeting of senior officials or agents. He said that the two nations, Iraq and Iran, have become unified by the blood of the martyrs from both countries and this is the real revenge. The Islamic youth are now motivated to carry out attacks against U.S. presence in their countries. General Naqdi said that American pressure on the region has now led the youth "to pull them [the Americans] out of their nests of spies" – referring to U.S. embassies – "and military bases and to hang them blindfolded from trees." He added that motivation to attack the "Zionist regime" has now quadrupled. General Naqdi stated that this popular motivation is a more effective means of revenge than a military blow and this will lead to the U.S. pulling out of the region and the annihilation of Israel.

General Mohammad Reza Naqdi: "The Americans should sit down and watch what will happen in the region now."

Host: "This is exactly what I wanted to ask. Please elaborate a little bit, because since morning, when we heard the news... Our public knows our capabilities. They want to know about the main thing [revenge]..."

Naqdi: "Look, I don't rely so much on our capabilities. We have missiles and drones that can hit [targets]. We have various capabilities and weapons. We can do things to them in land and in sea. For me, these things are not important. Even if we hit them good... I don't see these as real blows. The blood of the martyrs is more powerful than our blows, more powerful than if we launch a few missiles or kill several of their senior officers and top agents. The blood carries much more weight. The blood does other things and that is what is important.

"When the blood of two martyrs, an Iranian and an Iraqi – two great generals of these two peoples... When their blood mixes in such an event, you get a funeral of both peoples. The ideas of these two peoples are carried on the shoulders of Iraqis and Iranians. This event is greater than exacting revenge by means of an attack, by hitting a certain target or carrying out some operation. These are minor things. I believe that the consequences of the blood are far greater. They create a continuous wave. As a result of this event, the U.S. is not safe anywhere in the world – not only in Iran and Iraq, but in the other Islamic countries as well. America has no security anymore. Many young people now have the motivation to attack it. Until now, they would live their lives, and pass right next to America's nest of spies [embassy] in their country. Starting tomorrow, or even today, they will view this nest of spies differently. They will view the people who come and go there in a different way. The Americans will bring the situation to a point... The pressure America exerts on the Islamic nation will lead the peoples of the Islamic countries to pull them out of their nests of spies and their military bases... I can see that day... They will pull them out and hang them blindfolded from the trees in their cities.

"If, for example, two weeks ago, you wanted to recruit people to go and fight the Zionist regime, you could have recruited maybe 10 divisions. As of today – Friday, January 3 – you can recruit and mobilize 40 divisions of young men to fight the Zionist regime. This is what's going on. This is much more effective than landing a [military] blow of revenge. This will lead to the evacuation and the isolation of all the U.S. military bases in the region. It will lead to the elimination of the Zionist regime."

Host: "Inshallah."
