IRGC Commander-in-Chief General Hossein Salami: A Limited Attack on Iran Would Not Remain Limited; We Will Pursue and Punish Any Aggression to the End

IRGC Commander-in-Chief General Hossein Salami said in a speech that was uploaded to the Internet on September 21, 2019 that a limited attack on Iran would not remain limited because the Iranians are a people who "pursue and punish." He said that Iran would not rest until the complete collapse of every invader, that it would not leave a single place safe, that it would never allow a war to take place on Iranian soil, and that its determination to launch an "overwhelming response" to any aggression is certain. General Salami delivered the remarks at the recently-opened Exhibition of the Vulture's Hunt, which showcases drones that Iran has captured or shot down.

Following are excerpts:

General Hossein Salami: Listen carefully: A limited attack [on Iran] will not remain limited. We are people who pursue and punish. We have demonstrated this. We will not rest until every invader has completely collapsed. We will not leave a single place safe. Pay attention to what you are doing. Do not make any mistakes.

Our determination [to launch] an overwhelming response to any aggression is certain. We are people who respond.

If anyone wants his land to become the main battlefield – by all means. We will never allow any war to be dragged into Iran's soil, and we will continue to the end.
