Iranian TV Showcases Mobile Air Defense Systems Including Radars and Intercepting Missiles

On June 25, 2019, Ofogh TV (Iran) aired a brief video showcasing the deployment of Iranian mobile air defense systems in the desert. The following defense systems are shown in the video: the "Kavosh" short-range tactical radar system, which has a range of 150 kilometers; the "3rd of Khordad" missile system, which can intercept four targets simultaneously and launch up to eight missiles to an altitude of 30 kilometers, with a range of 70 kilometers; the "Matal-ul-fajr" medium-range radar system, which has a range of 500 kilometers; the "Sayyad" missile system, which can intercept up to three targets simultaneously and launch up to six missiles to an altitude of 27 kilometers, with a range of 50 kilometers; the "Raad" passive missile system, which can intercept one target and launch one missile to an altitude of 14 kilometers, with a range of 24 kilometers; the "Tabas" missile system, which can intercept one target and launch up to two missiles to an altitude of 30 kilometers, with a range of 70 kilometers.
