Iranian Video Mocks "The Hope" - Israel’s National Anthem: No Hope Remains For The Zionist Army; Those Who Remain In Israel Will Be Buried

#9299 | 02:18
Source: Tasnim News Agency (Iran)

On December 3, 2021, Tasnim News Agency (Iran) posted a parody of Israel's national anthem. The video showed images of Israeli soldiers crying and praying, of graves of Israeli soldiers, and of the Dome of the Rock in Jerusalem. The lyrics were: "The army of the Zionists was built on wax [and] no hope for it remains... The fool[s] who insist [on remaining [in Israel are] doomed to be buried in the ground." An earlier version of this song, with a different video, was produced by the Izz Al-Din Al-Qassam Brigades, the military wing of Hamas, and was originally aired in 2014 on the Hamas-owned Al-Aqsa TV (see MEMRI TV Clip No. 4261).

Vocalist:  "The army of the Zionists was built of wax. It has already melted, and no hope for it remains. The Jews are villains who have been here before. Will someone please tell me what is left of them? Two parts - the first will be returned to its land of origin, if it so chooses, while the fool who insists [on remaining] is doomed to be buried in the ground. The name of the holy city will be restored. My capital is Bayt Al-Maqdis, not Jerusalem. The name of the holy city will be restored. My capital is Bayt Al-Maqdis, not Jerusalem."
