In a video posted to the First India Filmy Twitter account on October 11, 2022, Iranian-born Bollywood actress Elnaaz Norouzi performed a stripping dance routine in support for the anti-hijab protests that have been taking place in Iran. Norouzi began by wearing a hijab and a niqab, and removed her clothing layer by layer, ultimately revealing a bikini and removing the top. The video features a caption reading: "If this is your choice, it's OK!" It also features a caption reading "Woman, Life, Freedom", which is a slogan associated with the protests in Iran. Norouzi was born in Tehran and moved to Germany when she was a child. She currently lives in India, and is known for having starred in the Netflix series "Sacred Games."
