On November 18, 2024, Iranian researcher and author Mohammad-Taghi Zahedi stated in an appearance on Channel 3 (Iran) that Purim is a holiday of animosity towards the Iranians and the Aryan race. He added that Jews invented the holiday to fabricate proof of their existence during the Achaemenian Empire period. Zahedi claimed that Haman was the first antisemite, a person who opposed Jewish victimhood and oppressed the Jews. He further claimed that an Israeli general had threatened to slit the necks of Iranians, similar to the events of Purim. Zahedi also referenced The Protocols of the Elders of Zion, alleging that it discusses the killing of non-Jewish women and children and the manipulation of women in non-Jewish societies. He asserted that the Protocols is a manual that Jews follow, alongside the Torah and Talmud, to destroy non-Jewish families by promoting liberal ideologies among women in gentile societies.
Mohammad-Taghi Zahedi: "The holiday of Purim is important for Jews, because it fabricates 'proof' that they existed during the Achaemenian [Empire]. Yes, 'fabricate' is the right word here.

"The first antisemite in history, the first person to come out against Jewish victimhood, the first oppressor of Jews, was called Haman. An Israeli general said during the Gaza war: 'Just as [we did] in Purim, we will come and slit your necks in Iran.'

"Displacement, pogroms, inquisition and other [Jewish] lies throughout history – all convey the message: 'We were the minority and the victims.'"
Interviewer: "This is only an oral narrative, and there is no proof..."
Zahedi: "Not in this instance, but we have proof in other historical events. Obviously, we know about the Spanish Inquisition in Andalusia, but [the Jews] say that they were victims, while the opposite is true. It goes on like this until the events of the Holocaust.

"These historical fabrications have two purposes. First, establishing the basis for a historical narrative and distorting it, and victimhood of the Jews in that historical narrative.

"The Protocols of Elders of Zion clearly discusses the killing of non-Jewish women and children and brainwashing women. The Zionists we face do not only [adhere] to the Torah and Talmud as their religious books. The Protocols is their manual..."
Interviewer: "It is clearly explained there."
Zahedi: "Exactly. Also the role and importance of raising a family... [It instructs how] to destroy non-Jewish families. It is mentioned very clearly that the poison of liberalism has to be injected to women in gentile societies."
