Imprisoned Female Relatives of ISIS Fighters Describe Themselves as Time Bombs about to Explode, Call on ISIS Leader, Fighters to Liberate Them from Al-Hawl Refugee Camp, Restore Caliphate

On July 12, 2019, a group of imprisoned female relatives of Islamic State (ISIS) fighters released a video through the pro-ISIS Al-Bayan media foundation in which they threatened to carry out attacks and called on ISIS leader Abu Bakr Al-Baghdadi and his fighters to liberate them from the Al-Hawl Refugee Camp and restore the Caliphate. The message was read from a mobile phone by a woman veiled in black who was seated among other veiled women in front of an ISIS flag. The women's faces were entirely veiled. Addressing mujahideen all over the world, the woman said: "Support your brothers and sisters who are in the prisons of the infidels... Ignite the fire of Jihad with the strength of your belief... Use it to burn the [Iranians] and the [Christians]... Take us back to the land of the Caliphate." The woman concluded by addressing Allah's enemies, saying: "Do you think we have forgotten those [you have] killed and imprisoned?... [Do you think] you have subdued the wives of the mujahideen by imprisoning them in your filthy camp? No, we are now like time bombs that are about to explode, and the entire world will hear the echo."

Woman: "Support your brothers and sisters who are in the prisons of the infidels. Mobilize and ignite the fire of jihad with the strength of your belief and the sturdiness of your determination, and use it to burn the Magians [i.e., Iranians] and the worshippers of the Cross.

[...]

"Take us back to the land of the Caliphate. Rise up, oh grandsons of the Companions, and restore the glory of the Caliphate so that it will be better than before, since the hearts eagerly yearn for it.

[...]

"Rest assured – may Allah ease our hardship, as well as yours. In keeping with our promise we wait for Allah to reunite us soon. In case Allah does not reunite us in the present life, then we will [be reunited] in Paradise, Allah willing.

[...]

"I implore you, oh brother, oh Abu Bakr [Al-Baghdadi], to prepare the inghimaseen [commandos] and the martyrdom-seekers and to show us [your actions] against the enemies of Allah, which would heal our chests and cause our hearts to rejoice. Free us from their prisons and detention centers. By Allah, we would prefer a thousand times over to live in dignity under the airstrikes of their fighter jets and their machine guns over living in their filthy morass of a camp. We would rather die than live with infidels.

[...]

"Oh enemies of Allah, do you think that what you have done to us in Al-Baghouz will pass peacefully? Do you think we have forgotten those who have been killed and imprisoned? There is not a single sister who has not lost a father, a brother, a husband, or a child, and we have not forgotten our brothers whom you have imprisoned. [Do you think] you have subdued the wives of the mujahideen by imprisoning them in your filthy camp? No, we are now like time bombs that are about to explode, and the entire world will hear the echo. What our muhajira sister did was only the beginning... So await that which you will hate seeing, Allah willing. What is to come is graver and more bitter."
