In a November 11, 2023 address by Hizbullah Secretary-General Hassan Nasrallah aired on Spot Shot Online (Lebanon), he said that the demonstrations in Western cities are more important than those in Arab cities. He explained that these demonstrations are applying pressure on the governments of Western countries. Nasrallah said that Western leaders said that a ceasefire would support the interests of Hamas, but now "all of them have joined the voices calling for a complete ceasefire."

Hassan Nasrallah: "The demonstrations that are taking place in the several places in our Arab and Islamic world are highly important, but more important are the demonstrations that take place in Washington, New York, London, Paris, and Western Europe, because these demonstrations apply pressure on their governments. The passing of time increases the pressure on the enemy and its protectors. Today, even the heads of state in Western countries, who spoke in the early days [of the war] against a ceasefire, and used to say that a ceasefire would serve the interest of Hamas and the interest of the resistance in Palestine – today, all of them have joined the voices calling for a complete ceasefire."
