Following are excerpts from a Hamas TV puppet show, which aired on Al-Aqsa TV, on December 2, 2010:
Storyteller: My dear children, the Al-Aqsa Mosque is being defiled. The Al-Aqsa Mosque is groaning. The Al-Aqsa Mosque is crying, my dear children. Do you know why? Because the Zionists have defiled it. The Zionists have changed... what do they change? They change its characteristics, in order to make it theirs.
My dear children, the Zionists' plot – so that you will know what is going on – is to destroy the Al-Aqsa Mosque.
Therefore, my dear children, every day the criminal Zionists scheme and ponder how to destroy the Al-Aqsa Mosque. Absolutely. Do you know why? In order to build their false temple in its place. The truth is that at first, we were united. At first, our hearts were joined as one. We wanted the Al-Aqsa Mosque, and we conducted demonstrations against the Zionist entity.
Therefore, my children, the criminal Zionists are digging tunnels under the Al-Aqsa Mosque. Do you know why? Of course, I've already told you – it is because the Zionists want to destroy the Al-Aqsa Mosque. This is part of what I am telling you.
