Hamas MP Mushir Al-Masri: UAE-Israel Deal Is Like An Adulteress Marrying An Adulterer; the UAE Has Committed 'High Treason' Against Allah

Hamas MP Mushir Al-Masri said at an August 14, 2020 rally in Gaza that aired on Al-Quds Al-Youm TV (Islamic Jihad – Gaza) that by signing a peace deal with Israel, the UAE is acting like an adulteress who is marrying an adulterer. He said that it is forbidden for Muslims to sign an agreement with the "criminal occupation" and that the UAE is committing high treason against Allah, the Prophet Muhammad, and the Muslims. Al-Masri added that the UAE must return to the fold of the Islamic nation before it is too late.

Mushir Al-Masri: "What the UAE regime is doing today is similar to what Allah said: 'An adulteress shall be married only to an adulterer or a polytheist, and that has been made unlawful for the believers.' It is haram for the believers to have an agreement with the criminal occupation. It is haram for the believers to join the ranks of Netanyahu and Trump who are occupying the first qibla [direction of prayer], the second mosque [built on Earth], and the third [holiest mosque] after the Two Holy Mosques [in Mecca and Medina]. It is haram for the believers to act like the UAE regime – to commit high treason against Allah, His Prophet, and the believers. The UAE regime cannot wash off its shame through Palestine's honor. A regime that spilled the blood of innocent people in our [Islamic] nation, turned against the will of the peoples, and splintered our Islamic nation cannot support Palestine or stand by its people. Those who killed innocent people in Yemen, Libya, and in other countries can be nothing but the killers of our Palestinian people, alongside the occupation. They must return to their sense and into the fold of the [Islamic] nation, before it is too late."
