Hamas MP and Cleric Yunis Al-Astal: The Abominations of the Jews Merited Their Transformation into Apes and Pigs

During a parliamentary session in Gaza, Hamas MP and cleric Yunis Al-Astal recited at length quotes from the Quran, vilifying the Jews. "We do not have time to list their abominations, which merited their transformation into apes and pigs," he added, saying that due to these faults, Jewish scholars were described as "dogs," and the simple people were described as "donkeys." Al-Astal further said that Allah has gathered "those corrupters" in Palestine in order "to annihilate their corruption at the hands of His servants of great might," and ended with a recommendation to produce a generation of "servants of Allah with great might." The Gaza parliamentary session aired on Al-Quds TV (Lebanon) on August 1, 2018.

Hamas MP and Cleric Yunis Al-Astal:  The Jews engaged in great corruption to the point that Allah said, "The Jews said that the hands of Allah are shackled. May their hands be shackled, and may they be cursed for what they said." [Allah] also said: "Whenever they kindle fire for war, Allah extinguishes it. They strive to corrupt the land. Allah does not love those who corrupt." There are more descriptions of the Jews in the Quran, such as: "Because of their breaking the covenant, their rejecting the signs of Allah and their slaying of the prophets unjustly…"

The truth is that we do not have time to list all their abominations, which merited their transformation into apes and pigs, and which led to some of their scholars being described as dogs, and their simple people as donkeys.

Allah wanted these corrupters to gather in the land of Palestine, in order to demonstrate [Palestine's] blessing to Mankind, by annihilating that corruption at the hands of His servants of great might, who have more faith and courage than weapons. So my recommendation is that we must produce a generation of "servants of Allah with great might."
