On December 15, 2022, Al-Aqsa TV (Hamas-Gaza) aired a video celebrating the fact that the 2022 FIFA World Cup is being hosted by an Arab nation that is "capable" of "succeeding", "winning", and "being victorious." The video draws a comparison between Qatar hosting the games, the Moroccan national team qualifying for the semifinals, and Hamas's "resistance" against Israel. The video features images of Hamas's rocket capabilities, armed fighters, and the Al-Aqsa Mosque, as well as an excerpt of Tunisian sports commentator Issam Chaouali saying: "We Arabs constitute the cradle of the monotheistic religions... We are the ones from whom you learned. We taught you." The video also features audio of a crowd chanting: "With our souls and our blood, we will redeem you, oh Al-Aqsa!"

Onscreen text: "A nation capable of succeeding. Qatar organizes the 2022 World Cup. A nation capable of winning. Morocco qualifies to the final four in the 2022 World Cup. A nation capable of being victorious. The Islamic resistance in the face of the plundering enemy."

Tunisian sports commentator Issam Chaouali: "We Arabs constitute the cradle of the monotheistic religions. We are the Arabs of past and future, of culture and civilization. We are poetry and castles. We are the ones from whom you learned. We taught you."

Onscreen text: "A capable nation."

Crowd: "With our soul and our blood, we will redeem you, oh Al-Aqsa Mosque!"
