On April 7, 2023, Al-Aqsa TV (Hamas-Gaza) aired a show in which Palestinian TV anchor Islam Saqr praised the Palestinian terrorist who carried out the terror shooting that resulted in the deaths of British-Israeli Lucy Dee and her two daughters, Maia (20) and Rina (15) in the Jordan Valley earlier that day. Saqr declared that the shooter is still on the loose and is "sowing terror in the hearts of the Zionists," adding: "The masses are setting out in large numbers [to] heed the call of Allah, Jerusalem, and the Al-Aqsa Mosque."
Islam Saqr: "We now have another brave hero who killed two Zionists and injured a third one, who is expected to die. [The hero] is free and he is sowing terror in the hearts of the Zionists with this heroic shooting attack, killing two and critically wounding one, in the [Jordan] Valley. The scene is now marked with blood, heroism, and the hands of heroic youth.

"Jerusalem is today rewriting history [of the conflict] between Truth and Falsehood, between the nation of Muhammad and the Zionists, between a blessed and faithful group of murabitun [fighters on the front lines] – about whom the prophet Muhammad told us – and between the violators of agreements and pacts. The masses are setting out in large number from everywhere, in order to heed the call of Allah, Jerusalem, and the Al-Aqsa Mosque."
