In Friday Sermon, Imam Chants Antisemitic Slogans, Adds: We Have Come Here to Execute the Decision of Allah and the Resolution of the U.N. - - Scenes from Gaza "Return March"

In a Friday sermon held east of Khan Yunis, at one of the "Return March" camps, Imam Muhammad Salah, "Abu Raab," led the congregation in chanting "Khaybar, Khaybar, oh Jews, the army of Muhammad is here." Imam Salah declared that "the herds of plundering Jews will leave Palestine," and told the worshippers that their goal was "to execute the decision of Allah," as manifest in the Quran, "as well as UNGA Resolution 194." He later attributed the quote "the old will die and the young will forget" to former Israeli Prime Minister Golda Meir, to whom he referred as an "old bag," and said that "the young swept Sharon and the Zionists out of Gaza and today, they are doing it again." Imam Salah later stressed that the Palestinians have the right to bear arms "to protect the honor of our women and our land." The sermon was delivered on March 30 and was posted on YouTube a few days later.

Imam Muhammad Salah: "This is Palestine. This is Palestine and, by Allah, the herds of plundering Jews will leave Palestine.

"We say to the Zionists: Khaybar, Khaybar, oh Jews, the army of Muhammad is here!

[...]

"We have come here, first and foremost, to execute the decision of Allah. There is a decision by Allah, brothers: 'Expel them from wherever they have expelled you.' This is Allah's decision. We have come here to reiterate it, to implement it, and no one in the world, no matter who, can prevent us from doing so.

[...]

"We have also come here to execute the decisions of the nations. Didn't the United Nations pass Resolution 194 about the return of refugees? We say to them: The decision of the Lord has preceded yours.

"The old bag said one day... Do you know who the old bag was? The prime minister of the Zionist entity, who went by the name 'Golda Meir.' That wretched woman, who knew what was in store, said one day: 'The old will die, and the young will forget.' Now that she is buried underground and we are still above it, I say to her: The old died chanting: 'We will be victorious, oh America! We will be victorious, oh Bush! Because we have our rights. As for the young, they have grown, alongside the almond and olive trees. Today, the young brandish their rights in Trump's face, and in the face of America and the arrogance of the Zionists.

[...]

"[The young] swept the Zionists out of Gaza. Oh Golda Meir, the young grew older, and they swept Sharon and the Zionists out of Gaza. Today, they are doing it again. They do not lack the means, peaceful means, even though we have the right to employ all types of resistance, and we choose the appropriate means for the appropriate time.

[...]

"To the world we say that we are no terrorists. We have rights, and if we bear arms, we do so to protect the honor of our women and our land. Isn't it our right? Isn't the right for defense and resistance guaranteed by all international laws? What did the Algerian people do? They sacrificed one million martyrs. If you don't care about the Algerian martyrs – what did the Vietnamese do, oh America? They expelled you in humiliation.

[...]

"Oh people of Palestine, oh nation of Islam, oh nation of one million [sic], come to see how terrified the Zionists are. They are shaking."
