Former Lebanese MP, Nasser Qandil Calls upon Lebanese to Prepare Rotten Eggs to Welcome Bush on His "Secret" Visit to Beirut in January 2008

Source: Al-Manar TV (Lebanon)

Following are excerpts from an interview with former Lebanese MP Nasser Qandil, which aired on Al-Manar TV on December 24, 2007.

Nasser Qandil: Bush will visit Beirut on January 10, 2008. We call upon the Lebanese to start preparing for your encounter with Bush during his visit to Beirut, which was decided upon secretly and furtively. I call upon the Lebanese to start collecting rotten eggs and old shoes today, in order to give a proper welcome to the war criminal George Bush, who bears the responsibility for the blood of our martyrs and victims, and for the destruction and ruin that befell Lebanon.

To Fuad Siniora, we say: Kisses like the ones you managed to plan on the cheek of Condoleezza Rice will not be planted in the case of George Bush, because he will not set foot on the soil of pure Beirut, which has fought, demonstrated steadfastness, and defended the honor of the Arab nation ever since 1982.
