Following are excerpts from an interview with former Lebanese minister Wiam Wahhab, which aired on NBN TV on October 10, 2012.

Wiam Wahhab: If Turkey intervenes in Syria and launches an attack against it, there will be clashes on the streets of Istanbul. You can make a note of that.

Interviewer: There are internal problems...

Wiam Wahhab: It will happen in the streets of Istanbul and throughout the provinces of Turkey. You will see in Turkey what you see in Aleppo today.

If the Turks intervene, thousands of missiles will rain down on Turkish cities, factories, and other sensitive areas.
