Former Indian Minister of Petroleum and Natural Gas Mani Shankar Aiyar spoke at the Fourth Global Convention of Solidarity with Palestine on March 13, where he praised India-Palestine solidarity and called: "Long live the Intifada! Long live the resistance! The martyrs are immortal!"
Mani Shankar Aiyar: "As Palestine belongs to the Palestinians and not to the Zionists, all Palestinians have the inalienable right to return to their homeland, their motherland, to the blessed land of Palestine, including Al-Quds [Jerusalem], the heart of Palestine.
"At this moment, more than at any other time since 1947, the world needs to stand by the Palestinians. The international community must come to their rescue. They must be saved from Donald Trump.
"Today, Israel looks like an extension of East Europe. It is when the essential Arab character is restored to the land of Palestine that all Palestinians will be able to return to Palestine. Long live the Intifada! Long live the resistance! The martyrs are immortal! Long live Palestine! Long live India! Long live India-Pakistan... Sorry, India-Palestine solidarity!"
