Fmr. Iraqi PM Nouri Al-Maliki: The Slayers Of The Prophets Will Be Disgraced, Jerusalem Liberated; Zionists Try To Unravel Our Social Fabric

Former Iraqi Prime Minister Nouri Al-Maliki spoke against normalization with Israel at a memorial ceremony commemorating the first anniversary of the assassination of deputy PMU leader Abu Mahdi Al-Muhandis and IRGC Qodds Force commander Qasem Soleimani, which was organized by Feyli Kurds and broadcast on Al-Etejah TV (Iraq) on January 5, 2021. He said that "Zionism" will not normalize relations with Arab countries unless it can infiltrate Arab societies and bring down Arab social values. Al-Maliki added that the countries that normalize their relations with Israel do not realize that the Quran promises that the Muslims will fight the Jews and liberate Jerusalem. He said that he hopes other Arab countries will not rush to join the normalization process, because the countries that normalized relations with Israel in the past had gained nothing.

Nouri Al-Maliki: "Zionism will not normalize relations [with Arab countries], unless it can infiltrate the fabric of our society, and bring down the social values that we believe in. Not only have they been engaged in distortion and falsification throughout history, they even resorted to the distortion of the Quran and the Hadith. They will not make do with anything less than bringing down [our] social values, and yet you [who normalized relations with Israel] opened your doors to them, through what you called 'the movement of normalization.' But these people fail to realize that the Quran had promised us that we would have another chance against them, that Jerusalem would return, and that the slayers of the prophets would be disgraced. They will not be able to sustain this infiltration of theirs. I hope that the other [Arab countries] do not join those who have rushed to Tel Aviv, because they will not gain anything for themselves or their people. What have the countries that normalized [relations with Israel] decades ago gained?"
