Former Iranian Diplomat Amir Mousavi: Assassinations Of Fakhrizadeh, Soleimani Justify The Assassination Of Israeli Scientists, CIA And Pentagon Officials; Trump Himself Will Continue To Be Pursued Even After Leaving The White House

Former Iranian diplomat Amir Mousavi said in a November 29, 2020 interview on Al-Manar TV (Hizbullah-Lebanon) that when U.S. President Trump took responsibility for the killing of Qods Force commander Qasem Soleimani, he "opened the gates" for the assassination of senior American officials. He added that Trump himself will be on the run for his entire life, even after leaving the White House. Mousavi also said that if Israel is proven to be behind the assassination of Iran's senior nuclear scientist Mohsen Fakhrizadeh, as suspected, Israeli scientists will be targeted by "the enemies of the Zionists". He detailed the instrumental role Fakhrizadeh played in developing a cadre of nuclear scientists in Iran. He added that if U.S. President Elect Joe Biden chooses to rejoin the JCPOA, he would not be doing so because he likes Iran, rather as revenge against President Trump.

Amir Mousavi: "[Iran] has cohorts of [nuclear] scientists and experts. If you enter the nuclear reactor in Natanz, for example, you see hundreds of young men and women, 24 or 25 years of age, running Iran's nuclear program, running the centrifuges, and the uranium enrichment cycle. We have entire armies of scientists who were raised by this martyr, [Mohsen] Fakhrizadeh. He had raised almost 6,000 scientists at Imam Hussein University and in the research centers that he had established over the past 18 or more years.

"I think Iran can retaliate in various ways but it is in no hurry. Unfortunately, the American administration and the Zionist entity have developed a habit – thus providing others justification to do the same – of assassinating officials and scientists. If it is proven [that Israel assassinated Fakhrizadeh], and I think we are on the way to this... If it is proven that [Israel] was involved in this, then it will have opened the gates for the assassination of scientists. It gives the enemies of the Zionists a license and a free pass to assassinate all the Zionist scientists. This is not difficult. When President Trump claimed responsibility for the assassination of the martyrs Qasem Soleimani and Abu Mahdi Al-Muhandis, he opened the gates for the assassination of [American] officials, whether in the Pentagon, in the CIA, or in the Presidency itself. Even if Trump himself s on the run now that he is in the White House, and he will continue to be on the run when he leaves it. For the rest of his life he will be pursued by the soldiers of Allah and His angels, who will avenge the blood of his martyrs. They have opened the gates of Hell upon themselves.

"Biden does not want to return to the nuclear agreement out of love for Iran. Rather, it would be an act of revenge against Trump, who has destroyed everything that Obama and the Democrats did during the eight years prior to Trump's presidency, and even during previous terms. So [Biden] would come to the nuclear deal on Iran's terms, and not America's terms. It is revenge against Trump. This is an internal issue, and not out of love for Iran."
